Gulf Cove Womens' Club
This club promotes education, health and social activities. Proceeds from their activities are donated to various area charities including a Nursing Scholarship. The highlight of the year is the Annual Tea held on the second Monday in February and Christmas Party. Monthly meetings include speakers and a light lunch. Book swaps and teacup auctions are also special features of the meetings. The club meets at 11 am on the second Monday of each month from September to May at the Gulf Cove United Methodist Church, 1100 McCall Road, Port Charlotte, FL 33981. The annual membership is $20.00. All women in the Myakka River area are welcome. Our 2023 president is Patti Rice, and anyone interested may call her on her cell phone 585-281-3558.
